Broad function:

  • Under the supervision of the Executive Vice President, the Worldwide Partnership Manager works closely with BPC’s Partners, marketing, product and technology groups to communicate the value of BPC’s software solutions. The WPM will incorporate BPC’s product and solutions messaging with partner messaging to communicate joint value propositions, competitive differentiation; driving preference for BPC’s solutions in the marketplace. Strategic Alliance Partners include IBM, Oracle, HP and Sun.
  • The Worldwide Partnership Manager will own and drive all partner-related marketing activities and deliverables to further drive BPC’s penetration with its key alliance partners in the marketplace.

Duties and responsibilities:

  • Develop compelling Partner marketing collateral including datasheets, case studies, customer/partner references, other sales tools and training.
  • Clearly articulate BPC’s and Partner joint value propositions supporting BPC’s solutions in the marketplace.
  • Drive BPC’s participation and inclusion in various Alliance partnership programs and activities.
  • Align resources within BPC’s Product Management, Corporate and Product Marketing and Sales teams to deliver "best-in-class" joint solutions and positioning for BPC’s solutions.
  • Ensure BPC maintains the highest appropriate level of partnership with its Partners’ programs
  • Successfully promote BPC’s solutions in close partnership with Partner and BPC’s constituencies to channel and direct sales teams.
  • Work with Partners to create and execute go to market plans to drive field readiness and customer satisfaction.
  • Communicate value proposition of partnerships and joint solutions.
  • Assist in driving BPC’s participation at partner events and trade shows.
  • Maintain current knowledge of the financial services and payments industries
  • Maintain a high level of business expertise, combined with a strong understanding of the underlying technical competencies relevant to BPC’s solutions

 

Experience required:

  • BS in technology field required; MBA a plus
  • 5 - 8 years experience in partner marketing, product marketing, product management and/or solutions marketing
  • Proven ability to develop compelling content for a wide variety of sales tools
  • Experience working with partners to create programs that drive revenue
  • Requires strong oral and written communication skills, combined with a mature, diplomatic approach
  • Experience in financial services and/or payments industry is a definite plus
  • Experience working with large global brands is a definite plus
  • Excellent relationship and account management skills, aggressiveness, persuasiveness and the ability to work effectively at all levels of an organization.
  • Must be self-directed and have a track record of showing initiative in outbound business development activities.
  • Results driven and possess a keen attention to detail, remarkable follow-through, and an ability to focus on strategic agendas while keeping day-to-day job activities current.
