The Services Solution Sales Professional (SSSP) in Microsoft develops business through driving and closing sales opportunities in specific solution areas, and so helps to further the Microsoft customer relationship from a capability development perspective by positioning workload-related Service Line solutions and offerings. This overlay sales role focuses on speciality services sales across customer accounts or in specific named accounts supporting Services Executives horizontally with solution sales depth in key sales priority areas driving yearly Services revenue targets and long-term revenue opportunities. The success of this business is measured by externally billed Services revenue from net new opportunities.

 

The SSSP role adds value to customers by demonstrating how solutions provided through Microsoft technology and Services can help solve specific business issues and positively impact the customer’s business.  Success is measured by demonstrable customer results through closed solution sales opportunities resulting in delivered consulting engagements.

 

The SSSP carries an assigned Services revenue quota; has a good knowledge of customers, their markets, business challenges and also the opportunities; focus on articulating the value of Microsoft as an Enterprise solution provider and demonstrating Enterprise Services’ commitment to helping customers solve their challenges and grow their businesses through accelerated adoption and productive use of Microsoft technologies and is able to leverage team members and skills to present the “One Microsoft” positioning to the customer.

 

 

Qualifications:

 

  • 3-10 years related experience.
  • Team Leadership and orchestration.
  • BS/BA or MBA degree in Sales and Marketing, Engineering, Information Technology.
  • Competency in Building Customer Partner Relationships, Confidence, Cross-Boundary Collaboration.
  • Drive for Results, Impact and Influence, Interpersonal Awareness, Product & Technology Expertise,   Strategic Sales Planning, Team Leadership.
  • Training and certification in Complex/Solution Sales training, Sales Methodologies (equivalent to MSSP), effective Services Marketing tactics, Negotiation, Financial analysis, Enterprise Architecture fundamentals, Business Process automation, CRM (Siebel or other).
