POSITION REQUIREMENTS

Role:                            Support fulfillment of energy related consulting assignments with a strong focus on natural gas. The position allows for career growth and ability to assume project and client management roles.

Position/Title:                 Senior Gas Consultant, Russia/CIS

Location:                        Pace Global Russia, LLC - Moscow Office

Duties:

•  Act as material analytical contributor and project and client manager for natural gas related consulting projects,
• Strategic planning for oil and gas companies,
• Participate in financial model development and financial analysis including valuation of infrastructure assets and service contracts,
• Participate in fuels markets research efforts for Russia and Europe,
• Assist Moscow office staff in marketing and business development efforts primarily through development of analytical approaches and statement of work and participating in sales closing meetings,
• Management of a small pool of research analysts as the office expands.

  Special Skills:              

• Understanding of international oil and gas markets and their structures, including knowledge of the LNG markets worldwide, price formation in different global markets and the long-haul pipeline industry costs, contract structures and tariffs ,
• Deep understanding of the Russian energy sector, including its structure, legislation, and major trends,
• Knowledge of financial modeling techniques, and principles of statistical and forecasting analyses,
• Familiarity with macroeconomic principles and Russian macroeconomic and political environment,
• Good written and verbal communications abilities,
• Multitasking and ability to work on several projects simultaneously,
• Demonstrated strategic thinking and thought leadership.

  Requirements:   

• At least 5 years’ experience in energy markets,
• Fluent in Russian and English and familiar with energy sector terminology,
• Able to travel frequently, both internationally and within Russia,
• BS or higher degree in Management, Finance, or Economics, MBA and/or CFA is preferred,
• Good command of MS Excel and PowerPoint.

• Operations Manager/Director of Energy and Financial Markets Platform.
