About the company:

Our client is recognised throughout the world to provide global financial services to both individual customers and businesses with global solutions for global money transfers and payments. In order to support the development and execute the overall business development, marketing and operations strategy for Russia and CIS region in conjunction with local and regional teams, it is looking to recruit their Regional Director

Job description:

- Tevelop and manage the implementation of the regional strategy, ensuring the platform is created for successful business growth in both the short and long term.
- To manage the regional P&L. Sets, manages and ensures achievement of regional budgets in collaboration with line manager.
- To ensure that a professional, well led and well motivated team is built, developed and continues to develop and that skills and potential are maximised.
- To clarify the oles and responsibilities are clearly defined and clear objectives and priorities are set in line with corporate goals.
- To ensure that a delivery to outcome and deadline culture is created and maintained within the team.
- To identify and pro-actively courts potential new business partners. Actively facilitates the contractual arrangements, on appropriate commercial terms, between any new partner identified and the parent company.
- To manages key new bid processes alongside global teams and work with regional offices
- To manage existing key accounts, ensuring profitable transaction growth and expansion of the network.
- To identify new business opportunities/solutions of mutual benefit to the client and Agents.
- To lead the local marketing team to create an annual regional marketing strategy/plan that has the support of Agents and Central Marketing. investment.
- To actively monitors Agent performance against market and budget and resolves any pertinent issues with the local team and Agents in good time.
- To actively works to develop a robust regional year-on-year strategy, which will enable annual step change growth.
- To work with Finance Department to manage the budget, forecasting and financial planning processes for the region, ensuring that strategic, accurate plans are put in place to maximise investment and ensure optimal short and long-term financial return.

Who we are looking for:

- Higher education MBA desirable.
- Proven experience of operating at a similar level of seniority - this knowledge/experience at a senior level of operation will have encompassed network development, marketing/sales management, financial and risk analysis.
- It is essential experience is gained within the designation region within a blue chip organisation together with exposure to operating within a fast paced/high growth environment.
- Experience have to include an international focus within retail financial services
- Strong expertise in relationship management - capacity to successfully negotiate effective and financially sound contractual relationships; able to deal with complex and sometimes difficult relationships at the highest level.
- Excellent negotiation skills - able to influence and persuade in decision making processes both internally and externally at the highest level to ensure buy-in.
- Excellent presentational skills - able to give a polished presentation in a variety of formats, informally and formally.
- Strong commercial acumen - able to identify and work with key business partners to maximise business results..
- Ability to determine key priorities and manage outcomes to timeline.
- Extensive team management experience - to include recruitment, development and resolution of any performance issues.
- Extensive experience of managing budgets and taking responsibility for P&L.
