Regional Sales Director Russia
 
JOB SUMMARY: 
The job holder is responsible for developing further & directing the Regional Sales team in order to generate profitable sales and to increase company’s market share within specified cost budgets.
The job has a high development potential and requires developed management skills.
 
PRIMARY ACCOUNTABILITIES: 
  • Develop a clear sales strategy and implement sales plans
  • Manage and coach sales team to deliver maximum value for Customers and Company. Develop personal and professional growth targets for all sales staff. Undertake performance appraisals, training program and capability reviews.
  • Establish sales growth targets for the specific business areas and customers, ensure that performance is reviewed monthly so that corrective action can be taken.
  • Develop and maintain effective relations with customers and colleagues to drive the business effort, using Key Account and category management on a professional level.
  • Support Key Account Managers in implementation of Business Plan for the key accounts.
  • Ensure that defined business objectives are achieved in volume, value, margin, costs and percentage terms. 
  • Monitor and report on competitor’s activities in order to identify commercial and business development opportunities.
  • Reporting to Commercial Director with a strong link to Management Director
  • Number of subordinates – ca. 12 people in Moscow and Regions
 
 
COMPETENCIES:
  • Higher education, MBA degree is an advantage
  • Proven experience in sales management and leadership (home appliances, consumer electronics or similar products sold in the same trade channels) - at least 5 years
  • Professional in Key Account and Category Management, incl. a good knowledge of Marketing Tools in the industry
  • Fluent English
  • Good basic understanding of major financial parameters and figures  (P&L, Balance sheet, cash flow) , supply chain and after sales service
  • Structured, self starter, ambitious and flexible personality with convincing character
  • Ability to communicate with and influence on colleagues and customers at all levels of the organisation.
  • Potential and willingness for professional and career development.
  • Ready to travel up to 50% of the working time
